Shruthilaya conducted the Carnatic Music competition Preliminary and Final Rounds. The panel of Judges were Pavitra Krishnan, Gopalakrishnan, Usha Venkatachalam for Preliminary rounds. Dr. Geetha Bennett, Dr. Seshu Sarma and Papanasam Gokul for Final Rounds. There was a Vocal concert by Dr. Geetha Beneett accompanied by Papanasam Gokul on Violin and Dr. Ram Sriram on Mridangam.

High School GA. Around 95 students of Shruthilaya participated in the
event.

2010 at Global Mall Auditorium for its Students and parents.

Shruthilaya had its Navaratri event on 3rd of October 2009. The program started with kids singing bhajans and ended with all Shruthilaya students singing Bhagyadha Lakshmi Baramma.

Competition was held on 17th and 18th of January 2009 followed by Mrs. Nirmala Rajasekar's concert on the veena, accompanied by Ramesh Panchagnula on violin, Santosh Chandru on Mridangam, Krishna Sarangapani on Kanjira.

On Saturday, 1st April 2006 at 11 am, the Carnatic Music Vocal and Instruments Competition was held at the Hindu temple in Atlanta. This was followed by a vocal concert by Madurai Shri Sundar accompanied by Shri Deepak Murthy on Violin and Dr. Ram Sriram on Mridangam.
